Slebogganing with Bill Herrick.mp4
Slebogganing with Bill Herrick.mp4
Have begun testing a Slebogganer's Toboggan as part of the Slebogganing System. The toboggans that we currently use (plastic 66") work fantastic on snow and down our Sleboggan Runs. However, the reason I am working on a new toboggan to use with the Sleboggan and what I call the Sleboggan System is more directed to Extreme Slebogganing. These toboggans will have steel runners to provide more control on very hard packed or ice covered slopes and Sleboggan Runs. Presently, down ice covered Sleboggan Runs and on icy conditions the Sleboggan works well, because it has steel runners, but the plastic toboggans slid via inertia in turns and hence are difficult to control on ice.
When I did test at Arrowhead ski area with my new design I can tell I'm on the right track. When developed I feel that these new toboggans will advance the sport of Extreme Slebogganing. Perhaps even made from carbon fiber or some other hi-tech material.
